Research

The Oxford Dictionary definition of genealogy is a line of descent traced continuously from an ancestor.  Start with yourself and work backward.  Requirements are basic research skills, patience, and time.  Our knowledgeable volunteers share a passion for discovering their roots, and can help you discover yours.  They are available during open hours to support your family research at no cost.

One on one research by a specialist is by appointment for a fee.  Contact the office for information, or make an appointment to receive an estimated cost.  All fees and donations are for the continued support and operation of Clallam County Genealogical Society's mission to collect and preserve genealogical materials and to educate  and assist in genealogical research.

Clallam County Genealogical Society is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to the collection and preservation of genealogical materials. It provides supportive and educational opportunities for those involved in genealogical research.
